Business Development / Key Accounts Manager Field Based (Model and Hobby Industry)
Ripley, Derbyshire (Covering the UK)
£22,500 - £27,500 Basic DOE and Company Car
Our client is the leading toy and model distributor in the country. Following a successful 2009, they now seek to expand their UK business further and hence are looking to recruit a Business Development / Key Accounts Manager to join their team.
Within this role, the Business Development / Key Accounts Manager will be based from the companys Ripley office but will be tasked with visiting clients and prospects throughout the UK to manage small-to-medium sized accounts and develop new business opportunities.
Working directly with the Commercial Manager, the Business Development / Key Accounts Manager will sell a range of leading model and hobby products, including diecast, kits, railways, slot racing and R/C.
To be considered for the role of Business Development / Key Accounts Manager, you must demonstrate proven experience of B2B sales, including account management.
You will also need the drive and determination to get out there and open new doors for the business, as well as the following key skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-playing ability
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident decision maker
- Computer literacy
Any prior experience within the model and hobby industry would be beneficial to your application, but is not essential.
